Venue Saint John

Venue Saint John is an event marketing partnership consisting of the City of Saint John, and private sector partners with a vested interest in the development of meeting, convention and special event business in the City.

With Venue Saint John now in its 6th year as Saint John's convention, sport and special event partnership, City Convention Officer Sally Cummings says, "The stats show that Saint John has consistently been the number 1 top convention destination in the Province, year after year." Saint John, the largest city in the province of New Brunswick with a population of 125,000, has the ONLY convention centre in NB. The Saint John Trade and Convention Centre features 17,000 square feet of space. Delegates will find "Uptown" Saint John compact and convenient, with the "Inside Connection", an above ground, climate controlled, pedway system.

The following hotels are leaders in the convention and group business in Saint John and are all partners in Venue Saint John. Most offer a business centre with free high-speed wireless internet and photocopying, fax and computer services along with health club facilities. Another First
Saint John artist Fred Ross has many works of art in the collection of the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa. In 1994, he became the first New Brunswick artist to be exhibited at the art gallery of the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Fred Ross received his early art training in Saint John and studied in the United States, Mexico and Europe. He continues to paint in Saint John.
