Located in the heart of uptown Saint John in the newly restored heritage property at 16 King Street (CenterBeam Place, directly opposite the Delta Hotel), this bookstore carries an eclectic and wide-ranging selection of fine books, as well as University of New Brunswick insignia clothing and giftware. You will find books for all tastes and ages, with a focus on Atlantic and New Brunswick authors. The atmosphere is comfortable, light, and airy – the perfect spot to enjoy the restorative effects of a good bookstore. Special orders are welcomed for any book still in print.

Along with a wide selection of locally made gift items, The Museum Shop has great books for all ages and interests. Although best known for its large selection of local interest books and books on the history of New Brunswick, the museum shop also has an impressive collection of books on nature, military, Acadian and Aboriginal history, Maritime fiction, poetry and much more. Our children's section offers wonderful locally written and illustrated stories, to books on nature, science and history. Drop in and have a look!

The Lorenzo Reading Series celebrates the Atlantic Book Festival with His Honour, Herménégilde Chiasson, Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick reading from his new book of poetry Beatitudes Plus: three as-yet-to-be-named finalists for the 2008 Atlantic Poetry Prize will be reading from their nominated works 7 pm, Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre, UNB Saint John.
