The Grand Finale of the Summer!
Canadian Country Music Awards

2006 marks the 30th anniversary of the Canadian Country Music Association and beginning on September 8th, Saint John will host Canadian Country Music Week, a celebration of country music in Canada.

This event will showcase the best of Canadian Country Music which will be presented in various venues throughout Saint John such as the Imperial Theatre, the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre, Delta Brunswick Hotel, Harbour Station, the Boardwalk and other locations in the city from September 8 - 11.

The festivities will culminate in the internationally-broadcast Canadian Country Music Awards show at Harbour Station on September 11, 2006. This year's show will be broadcast on CBC across Canada with encore broadcasts on CMT Canada and internationally and will feature performances by some of Canada's most talented performers.

Friday, September 8

10:30 am - 1:30 pm - Sailing Regatta, launch from the Royal Kennebecasis Yacht Club.

2:30 - 5 p.m - Songwriters' Café, Delta Ballrooms

9 p.m. - Kick Off Party at Pugsley Wharf

Midnight - 3am - Open Mic Kitchen Party, Delta Brunswick

Saturday, September 9

11am - 3pm - Fanfest, each hour showcasing a new slate of stars. Market Square

7:30 p.m. - Country Meets the Symphony - Imperial Theatre
